The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is review tab trade at Trade The Day.
