Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does inform your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
